This ServiceNow integration session will preview the new Chef Automate ServiceNow solution. The new solution goes beyond the basic incident creation application released into the ServiceNow store in 2018 and provides a ServiceNow - Chef Automate integration which periodically updates the ServiceNow CMDB application with the latest information from all the nodes managed by the Automate instance. ServiceNow users get an accurate view of all managed nodes, their installed software packages and latest Chef client run data with every cookbook that has been applied recorded in ServiceNow as a configuration item.
